Love From Home
DSU Dining
Services and PBL make it easier to send a little “Love
from Home”.
With the craziness that
college life brings, sometimes your student needs a word
of encouragement, congratulations or just a thought from
home. Let us help you brighten your student’s day with
a gift to say “Good Job,” “Happy Birthday,” or
“Hang-in-there.” Most packages are customizable which
allows you to choose your student’s favorite candy,
snack and beverages, plus there is no shipping cost!
Who is PBL?
Phi
Beta Lambda is a national organization whose mission is
to bring business and education together in a positive
working relationship through innovative leadership and
career development programs. The members at Dakota
State University consistently achieve awards at the

Available packages
College Survival Kit (Available in September)
Help your student feel at ease with a College Survival Kit filled
with all the essentials for beginning the journey! Kit includes: a
highlighter, pencils, pens, candy bars, and a stress ball in a DSU
refillable mug.
Trick or Treat (Available in October)
You’re never too old to “Trick or Treat”! Even if the days of
costumes are long gone, children of any age will enjoy the all-time
Halloween treats like caramel apples, candy corn, Blow Pops, and an
assortment of chocolate candies in a festive felt tote.
Beat the Winter Blues (Available in January-February)
Cabin fever getting the best of your student? Send a a pick-me-up
sure to warm them from the inside out with a mug filled with hot
chocolate packets, marshmallows, Ghiradelli Chocolate and a Java City®
Coupon.
Cupid’s Delight (Available in February)
Love is in the air! Enlist Cupid to deliver your
student a gift of kisses and peanut butter cups
surrounding a personalized GIANT heart shaped sugar
cookie and a Java City® Coupon.
Final’s Snack Attack (Available in December and May)
FINALS! This week is
stressful for all students, but stress relief is
different for all. Choose one, two or three of the
following packages.

Microwave popcorn, chips, and a coupon for a medium
Blizzard from Dairy Queen.

Movie Night (Anytime)
It’s movie night! Help your student relax with friends
with the feature presentation of popcorn, movie candy,
beverages and a $5 gift card to Mr. Movies.
Birthday Blast (Anytime)
Will your student celebrate their birthday while at school? No
problem, bring the party to them! We’ll send a personalized 1/4
sheet cake with plates, napkins and forks to get the party started.
Top it off with an optional mylar balloon!
