Comment: Onion rings or onion straws would be something good to add to the menu.

Response: Starting in January onion rings are every Tuesday at lunch and onion petals are Thursday at lunch.  We have also added cheesy onion strips every Monday night and jalapeno & onion straws every Wednesday night.  We are glad you like the items Jennifer Hauf, Food Service Director

Comment: Please put napkins on the condiment table for to go orders.  Taking them from people's tables is inconvenient. Thanks.

Response: Thanks for the suggestion!  We now have napkins stocked with the lids.  Jennifer Hauf, Food Service Director

Comment: The Italian worlds fare has ALWAYS been amazing and I look forward to that every week.  Recently they have been giving such small portions that its not even worth spending the amount for only 1 1/2 scoops of noodles.  Im an athlete and after workouts that does not even come close to filling us. I hate to write and complain but its just not worth the money for so little of an amount when its so good. When I asked for more noodles...the gentlemen said he can not give me more because its 'policy' we can only get so much. =(

Response:  I am glad to hear that you enjoy the Italian Display, it is one of our popular menu items.  Portion control is a policy that my employees do need to follow, so the gentleman is not completely at fault.  However, when offering the two display options (Italian and Oriental), they do have the flexibility to provide a little extra rice or pasta when requested.  The protein is a portion that they need to stick to.  I have mentioned this to all employees that work the station during those two lunch periods.  We have also added new "pre-determined" pasta entrees.  With these new options, portion control for all items does need to be followed as they are pre-determined and the price reflects the limitation of items.  If you caught the employee on one of these days, he would be correct in sticking to the portion sizes.  I hope this helps. Comment: I think that when somebody goes into the TC to eat at 6:40 on Saturday that they should still have the salad bar up so somebody could get a salad.  That would be great since the TC isn't supposed to close until 7

Response:  I apologize for this inconvenience.  I have contacted all of the student managers and instructed them to leave the salad bar set up until 7pm.  Thanks for letting us know. Jennifer Hauf, Food Service Director
