Frequently Asked Questions
What are
Dining Dollars and where can I use them?
Dining Dollars are used like a debit card. You will draw the Dollars from
your account to use whenever you choose. Dining Dollars can only be
used in the Marketplace, Java City, and Bits 'n Bytes Convenience Store.
How
are my Dining Dollars taxed?
Tax is collected when you purchase your
meal plan. This tax amount is kept separate in your account and is drawn

What
happens if my Dining Dollars run low before the end of the semester?
You can always add more Dining
Dollars to your card starting with a minimum of $25. For add-on Dollars

$100 in additional Dining Dollars, you will receive $110 to spend.
Am I
allowed to change meal plans?
After checking your class, work, and
study schedules, you may decide to switch to another plan. Changes are

What
happens to my unused Dining Dollars at the end of the semester?
