ALCOHOL &
OTHER DRUG OFFICE
of
Dakota State University |
Welcome to Dakota State University's Alcohol
& Other Drug Office. Our office is located in the Underground
facility on the lower level of the Trojan (Student) Center on the
Dakota State University
campus. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm,
mid-August through mid-May, each school year.
The Alcohol & Other Drug Office was founded in 1996 following a year
of research and planning with student and staff focus groups.
The mission of Dakota State University's Alcohol & Other Drug Office
remains unchanged: to develop a
comprehensive system of resources - offering access to a full
continuum of student based services - aimed at reducing the negative
and harmful effects that alcohol and other drug use have on student
persistence, retention and academic success.
Inquiries regarding our service offerings, confidential consultations about
specific issues, or group presentations covering a wide range of
subject matter are welcome. Feel free to stop down to
the Underground and visit with our any of our caring staff or contact
our Director, Erik G. Miller, at (605)
256-5121 or
erik.miller@dsu.edu.

DRUG-FREE SCHOOLS AND CAMPUSES BIENNIAL REVIEW
The U.S. Department of Education Drug-Free Schools and Campuses
Regulations require Dakota State University to publish a Biennial
Review every two years. The Biennial Review offers a detailed
assessment of student alcohol and other drug violations during the
period, as well as the relative effectiveness of institutional
program interventions designed to address them. Link to the
past two DSU Biennial Reviews below.

"I appreciate you
helping me
stand up,
realize what I had...
turn, and walk away.
Words can't explain
all the things you've
done for my life.
Thank you."
