It is required that all employees have regular training, at least once a year, in safety and that this training be cataloged.  Your training for large part consists of going through this particular website.  However, it is important to remember that a major component of your safety training consists of getting any questions answered that may arise either from this website, from the chemical hygiene plan, or in the use of material safety data sheets.  Please make sure that any questions that you have are directed to your supervisor or the chemical hygiene officer.  They will be happy to answer any questions or any concerns that you may have.   The cataloging, that is, the proof that you have had safety training and have understood it, is demonstrated in a safety exam which you must take at least once a year and pass with a score of at least 90 percent.   You will find the safety quiz on this web site.   It is your responsibility to make sure that you take this safety exam with the frequency no less than once per year.
