Natural Sciences offers B.S. degrees in
Biology, Mathematics, and Physical Science (encompassing both
chemistry and physics), as well A.S. and B.S. degrees in Respiratory Care.
Graduates go on to careers in business, industry, secondary
education, and allied health services. In addition, students
preparing for careers in engineering, medicine, veterinary science,
dentistry, chiropractic, nursing and similar fields work with a
faculty advisor to design and follow an appropriate pre-professional
B.S. program in biology or physical science.
The clinical facilities
and faculty for Respiratory Care are located at Avera McKennan and
Sioux Valley Hospitals in Sioux Falls, and Rapid City Regional
Hospital in Rapid City. The classrooms, laboratories,
and faculty for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics are
housed in the
C. Ruth Habeger Science Center on
the DSU campus. |
