Bachelor of Science in E-Commerce and Computer Security

Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in E-Commerce and Computer Security have a strong background in computing, networking, and business. They are well prepared to enter one of the fastest growing business areas in the twenty-first century and typically assume jobs such as Computer Security Analyst, Web Security Manager, Webmaster, Database Manager, and Networking Analyst.

Each graduate will have an understanding of Internet-based electronic commerce, computer security, database design, computer programming - including HTML, JAVA as well as other current client-side and server-side technologies, value-added networks, intranets, communications protocols, and privacy. Students can choose advanced specializations in either computer security, advanced technology, or web design.

The degree is also offered on a part-time basis in Sioux Falls. For more information, contact the College office or the Director of Sioux Falls programs.

All students earning a Bachelor of Science in E-Commerce and Computer Security and Computer Security degree must complete the following courses:
