Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphic Design

The Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphic Design prepares graduates for a variety of positions in which they use computer graphic applications. They are qualified to work as commercial artists (also called graphic artists or graphic designers) and applied artists in design — including web design as well as print design. They use computers to create, edit, and optimize graphic designs in a variety of formats. The major includes traditional courses in art (such as drawing, visual design, and history of art) as well as electronic publishing and web publishing, and it requires a core of courses in two-dimensional computer graphics, three-dimensional computer graphics, digital imagery, and computer graphic effects.
