Madison Community Calendar Web Site Unveiled

Madison – In an effort to better offer the community of Madison a “community calendar” and to provide efficient event information, a web site has been developed as a one-stop information source.  

The site, located at www.madison.sd.us/calendar, was created and will be maintained by Renee Grayson, Senior Secretary at the Dakota State University Foundation.  The site is located on the www.Madison.sd.us website that has been under the direction of Mike Waldner, owner of InfoTech, for many years.  Through his business, he is providing the site and the email address at no cost to the Madison community. 

“It is our hope to coordinate events in Madison, a small community with many organizations and activities, so as to not overlap each others’ events.  It is important that all organizations succeed with their events,” said Grayson. 

The Madison Chamber of Commerce and the DSU Foundation have given their support and cooperation for this project.
