Service-Learning Workshop to be held at DSU Madison The Dakota State University Student Services Office is hosting a one day "Learn By Doing" Service-Learning Workshop on Friday, March 27th from 10am-4:30pm in the Karl Mundt Foundation. The workshop is for people interested in sharing and learning more about service-learning and volunteerism on a college campus. Nine universities and colleges will be in attendance. Those joining Dakota State include University of North Dakota, Dordt College, University of South Dakota, University of Minnesota, Mayville State University, Dakota Wesleyan, South Dakota State University, and South Dakota School of Mines. Two sections are open to the Madison and DSU community. From 10:30 to 11:30, Robb Thibault from NDSU and Donna Hughes-Hargraves from SDSM&T will talk about how they have incorporated community service on their campus. From 3:30 to 4:30, Rick Moore and Valerian Three Irons, Service Learning Directors at SDSU, will discuss "The Many Faces of Service Learning."
