DSU’s Palmer to present at conference Madison – Dr. Jeffrey Palmer, professor for the College of Natural Sciences at Dakota State University, will be a presenter at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Western Regional Conference to be held in Denver, CO on February 19-21. Dr. Palmer will present a three hour mini course, "Teaching Mathematics with Foraging Games" and a one hour session, "Dynamical Systems in the Secondary Curriculum." Both presentations focus on DSU’s innovative interdisciplinary teaching using computer technology in mathematics. (end) |
