"Proud Past, Promising Future" is not only the creed of the Dakota State University Alumni Association, but also the title of a newly released print by the Dakota State University Foundation. The original painting is a volunteer effort by the well-known South Dakota artist John C. Green. John Green and Dale Kringen, Dakota State University Foundation Chairman, conceived the project to help raise scholarships through the sale of prints. The limited edition print depicts the Dakota State University campus and it’s landmarks, some from the past and some from the present. Only 100 artist proofs and 900 standard releases will be sold. The price for the Artist's Proof is $500.00 ($400 of which is a tax-deductible contribution) and $250.00 ($200 of which is a tax deductible contribution) for the standard editions. Prints are available immediately and delivery can be made in time for Christmas anywhere in the country.
