Goeden and Havliks presentation focused on distance education and where DSU is at in the development of our HIA program in distance education. Goeden was also a panel member for a discussion titled "Examples of the Virtual Classroom." "Dakota State University is a "pioneer" in the distance HIM education field, and we appreciated the opportunity to enhance our knowledge and gain recognition for DSU in the area of distance education," said Goeden. "The Virtual Classroom is an exciting new pathway for educators to reach students who may not have the opportunities to attend current on-campus classes." (end) |
