Final Pre-Registration at DSU Held, Applications Up Madison -- The final pre-registration for students was held today (August 22) at Dakota State University. Over 50 students and several parents attended a full day of activities preparing for the beginning of the fall semester on September 2nd. "Applications have been up over 20% since mid-January, and registrations through the summer have continued this trend," said Mike Mutziger, Director of High School Relations. "Students are attracted to the technology available to them and our unique academic programs. We offer a private school atmosphere at a public school cost which is very appealing to students and parents." Students were also introduced to online registration, where they register for classes through the world wide web. Dakota State University is the only public university in South Dakota to use web registration. (end) |
