DSU Graduates Meet Needs of Businesses World-Wide Madison -- As Microsoft, one of the largest software companies in the world, announces its plans to hire 3,600 workers in the coming year, Dakota State University is confident its degree programs and graduates will continue to meet the needs of businesses and industry world-wide. "Our computer technology graduates will have access to high-profile, high-paying careers for years to come," said Mike Mutziger, Director of High School Relations at DSU. "Currently, the demand for information systems graduates exceeds the supply and companies like Microsoft are now forced to look outside of the United States to fill positions." Dakota State University hopes to receive approval to offer a Masters in Information Systems, which will only further strengthen the Universitys position in South Dakota as a leader in computer technology education. "Dakota State University is obviously doing the right thing. We are offering students the opportunity to enter the right degree programs for the future," continued Mutziger. Dakota State University graduates already enjoy 100% placement rates in several areas such as computer information systems, computer science, respiratory care, and health information management.
