DSU Honors Online Instructors
Madison Dakota State University recently
recognized several instructors who have taught online courses
during the first decade of Distance Education (1991-2000) at the
University.
On hand to present the plaques and certificates during the
Faculty/Staff meeting on Monday were Dr. Jerald Tunhiem,
President, Dr. David Cook, Academic Vice-President & Provost,
and Deb Gearhart, Director of Distance Education.
Those honored were:
- Eric Johnson, Dean of the College of
Liberal Arts, who taught his first online course in 1991
- John Laflin, Associate Professor for the
College of Liberal Arts, who taught his first online
course in 1995
- Louis Pape, Associate Professor for the
College of Liberal Arts, who taught his first online
course in 1996
- Thomas Farrell, Assistant Professor for
the College of Business & Information Systems, who
taught his first online course in 1996
- Molly Turner Lammers, Instructor for the
College of Liberal Arts, who taught her first online
course in 1996
- Roger Reed, Professor for the College of
Liberal Arts, who taught his first online course in 1996
- Bruce White, Professor for the College of
Business & Information Systems, who taught his first
online course in 1997
- Mark Haas, Assistant Professor for the
College of Liberal Arts, who taught his first online
course in 1997
- James McKeown, Instructor for the College
of Business & Information Systems, who taught his
first online course in 1997
- John Nelson, Instructor for the College of
Liberal Arts, who taught his first online course in 1997
- Melvin Ustad, SBIR Representative for the
Business & Education Institute, who taught his first
online course in 1997
- Marie Lohsandt, Placement Director, who
taught her first course in 1997
- Dianna Torson, Director of Student
Development, who taught her first course in 1997
