DSU Phi Beta Lambda Earns Firsts at State
Conference A team of Dakota State University Phi Beta Lambda
(PBL) members dominated the annual state conference in Mitchell,
April 4 and 5. All ten
members of DSU’s team placed first in at least one event, qualifying
for the national conference which will be held in Atlanta, GA in
June. The competition
tests PBL members in a wide range of activities including academic,
skill and performance events. The DSU PBL team also received the award of
Largest Chapter in Attendance at the conference.
The state officer team was led by SD PBL President
Jenny Grabinger, who also serves as DSU PBL President. She was
assisted by Suzanne Swett, who served as SD PBL Reporter and also
serves as DSU PBL Vice President. Other members of DSU’s team
included Ted Jackson, Anne Jerke, Adam Learning, Cole Mullenbach,
Amanda Olson, Jared Vander Wal, Jordan VanMannen and Chuck Woodraska.
DSU faculty advisors for PBL are Dr. Dan Talley and Dr.
Lynette Molstad. Individual results are listed below.
