DSU Student Wins Scholarship Competition

Dakota State University junior Jenny Grabinger has been awarded the Sales & Marketing Executives Inc., of Sioux Falls (SME) scholarship.  Grabinger competed against three finalists for the $4,000 scholarship.  The competition consisted of an oral sales presentation, along with a formal application process. 

Grabinger, of Windsor, ND, is a marketing major at Dakota State.  She is the president of South Dakota Phi Beta Lamdba (PBL) and the DSU PBL president.  Grabinger also serves on the South Dakota March of Dimes Youth on Board and is an intern in the public relations and e-communications office at Dakota State. 

Sales and Marketing Executives of Sioux Falls works with students enrolled in South Dakota educational institutions to promote the field of Sales and Marketing.  Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, community involvement and leadership. 

SME members include CEOs, marketing managers, sales managers and other senior level executives who contribute to the advancement of sales and marketing management.
