Welcome to Invention to Venture: South Dakota!

Location: Technology Classroom Building on the Dakota State University Campus in Madison

The Center of Excellence in Computer Information Systems and the Center for TechnoEntrepreneurism at Dakota State University will host a one-day workshop on the basics of technology entrepreneurship.

The workshop is intended for college and university students and staff, area business personnel, and anyone else who wants to know more about technology innovation and commercialization.

Presentations will focus on venture capital, marketing, intellectual property, business plans, and related topics. Guest speakers are experts drawn from the region.

Invention to Venture workshops are held in cooperation with the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA). 

Cost*: $10 Students, $20 Faculty Members & Staff, and $50 Business Community & Other.

Participant guide, continental breakfast, lunch, and break are all included in the fee.
