Harder New DSU Director of Human Resources

 Maria Harder has been named the Director of Human Resources at Dakota State University in Madison. She began her duties July 16.  She had spent the last seven years working in the human resources and payroll department at a wireless communications manufacturing company in Sioux City, IA.  Harder also has past experience in the construction industry, retail and various sales industries.

 Harder has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication from Wayne State College.  She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  She currently serves on the board for the Siouxland Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, Siouxland Employer’s Council and Kid’s Care.

 Harder takes over as Human Resources Director from Nancy Grassel, who moved to Spearfish to take a similar position at Black Hills State University.
