DSU Has New Foundation Board Chair and Members The Dakota State University Foundation Board of Directors has a new chairperson. Sioux Falls businessman Larry Canfield accepted the position, taking over from Dr. Jerald Tunheim, who headed the board since 2005. Canfield is the owner of Canfield Business Interiors Inc. Alice Poppen will assume the role of Vice Chair of the DSU Foundation Board. Poppen is a former deputy clerk of courts in Rapid City and now resides in Madison. There are also three new members of the board; Kristine Anderson, Pat Maroney, and Tim Peters. Anderson is a former educator now living in Illinois. Maroney is a businessman in Howard and Peters is the market president of Great Western Bank in Madison.
