DSU FALL ENROLLMENT SETS RECORD Dakota State University officials released record enrollment numbers for Fall 2007 today (Tuesday.) The student head count at DSU rose from 2,439 students in 2006 to 2,570, an increase of 5.4%. “This record head count enrollment for DSU is another sign of the strength of the institution and the increase in the need for highly educated information technology professionals, as well as teachers who understand the new role of technology in the teaching and learning environment. Our off campus enrollments, our distance enrollments and our graduate student enrollments have all seen solid increases. More good news for Dakota State University!” DSU’s enrollment increase is part of an overall record enrollment for the state’s public universities. With this year’s headcount increase, Dakota State remains larger than both SD School of Mines and Technology and Northern State University. Enrollment figures for the six public universities in South Dakota were released today from Pierre.
