Farrell on Tablet PC Panel at National Conference
Dakota State University assistant professor Tom Farrell served as a panelist at the annual EDUCAUSE conference in Orlando, October 18-21. The EDUCAUSE conference brought together more than 7,000 information technology (IT) professionals in higher education, vendors who offer services to that market, and media professionals who cover the higher education IT sector.
Farrell was part of a panel that discussed the uses of the Tablet PC in the classroom. Students at Dakota State University receive the tablets when they register for classes, and many instructors have designed curriculum to use the tablet technology in their courses.
