Fawbush Honored by Madison
Area Chamber Dakota State University employee Donna Fawbush was honored by the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce with the Distinguished Service Award at their annual meeting in April.  Fawbush has been very active with the Chamber of Commerce and in the Madison community. She served as a member of the Chamber Board of Directors and was instrumental in starting a Leadership Madison program. The Leadership Madison program, started three years ago, has graduated over 60 participants. The purpose of the program is to develop future leaders for the Madison area, and to help participants enhance their personal leadership skills. At Dakota State, Fawbush oversees the day to day operations of the Dakota Prairie Playhouse and Conference Center. She is the campus events coordinator, responsible for summer conferences and other meetings on campus. Fawbush was recently named as chair of the 125th Anniversary Committee at Dakota State. Donna and husband Dick own Stan’s Men’s & Women’s Apparel in Madison. They have two children, Ashlei, a DSU student, and Gavin, a junior at Madison High School. |
