Maynard Awarded for U.S. History Course Design

Dakota State University assistant professor Dr. Christopher Maynard has been awarded the 2004 South Dakota Board of Regents Excellence in E-Learning award for the U.S. history survey course he teaches at Dakota State University. The E-Learning award is a statewide honor given to professors who excel at teaching with technology. Dr. Maynard was specifically singled out for his use of web-based cultural diversity modules.

Four professors in the South Dakota University system are selected to receive this award. Honorees are selected by peers and colleagues, selecting one winner in each of four categories. The award will be formally presented to Dr. Maynard at the May Board of Regents meeting in Aberdeen.
