DSU Director Presents Sessions at National Conference

Dakota State University Director of Career and Placement Services Marie Lohsandt was a presenter at the Nation Education Association Conference in Miami in November. Lohsandt lead two sessions for the group, one focusing on employment trends in education and the other on job search strategies. Educators from across the nation attended the conference.

The National Education Association (NEA) is the nation's largest professional employee organization with 2.7 million members. NEA has affiliate organizations in every state, as well as in more than 14,000 local communities across the United States.

Lohsandt has been at DSU for 16 years. She received her bachelors degree from Dakota State in 1988, a Masters of Science degree from the University of South Dakota and is completing her Doctorate in Educational Administration from USD.
