DSU's Terry Ryan announces retirement

Dakota State University officials announced today the retirement of Terry Ryan, Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs, effective December 31, 2003. Ryan has served as the head of Student Affairs since 1975. During his tenure, he has successfully led the Student Services staff through many challenging transitions.

“Terry has touched the lives of thousands of students over the years, and his dedication to the students’ personal and professional growth has been tremendous. I have personally valued Terry’s expertise and his staunch support of Dakota State University. His dedication and leadership will be greatly missed,” said Dr. Jerald Tunheim, President of DSU.
