U.S. News recognizes
DSU Madison, SD
-- U.S. News & World Report magazine recently
highlighted Dakota State University in its list of Best Online
Graduate Degree programs. The MS program in Computer Education &
Technology was included in a list of 152 best online graduate
degree programs in five disciplines:
business, engineering, education, public health, and
library science. According
to U.S News, all programs listed have the stamp of approval
of their regional accrediting boards, which sets rigorous
standards for higher education and qualify them for federal aid
programs. “We are excited to see DSU’s name on a
list created by U.S. News and World Report,” said Dr.
Mark Hawkes, graduate program director at DSU.
“DSU has the distinction of being the only South Dakota
university recognized among the nation’s top graduate programs
in any category. The
recognition reflects the hard work and talent of everyone
affiliated with the program from students to faculty to support
staff.” The Best Online Graduate Programs list is
compiled from the magazine’s E-learning directory, which
includes over 2,000 traditional colleges in addition to several
online entities. To view the list online, visit
