Schwan’s, DSU announce scholarship winners

            Dakota State University and Schwan’s recently announced the recipients of two annual Schwan’s scholarships, during the annual Center of Excellence Symposium.

            Dan Iverson, a junior from Watertown was awarded the $3,000 annual Schwan’s scholarship for the 2002-03 school year.

The Schwan’s $3,000 annual scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior, DSU Center of Excellence member, who maintains at least a 3.5 grade point average. The recipient must also be an Information Systems major.

            Winners of the annual $1,000 Schwan’s scholarship were also announced. Seniors Stacey Kurtz of Parkston and David Everhart of Artesian, along with junior Tony Nour of Armour received the awards.

            The Schwan’s $1,000 annual scholarship is awarded to a continuing student (sophomore or higher) who maintains at least a 3.0 GPA and is also an Information Systems major.
