Henning signs hitter from Marion 

             Dakota State University volleyball head coach, Cynthia Henning has signed 5’7” outside/right side hitter Lanae Bialas of Marion, SD.

Bialas is a 2001 All conference and honorable mention all-state player. She led her team in kills and kill efficiency this past season.

            “Lanae has spent a lot of time improving her strength and skills from her 2001 campaign,” Henning said. “She is well skilled in all areas and is an aggressive hitter. She makes smart court decisions and is a natural leader on the court. We are glad to have her in our volleyball program at DSU.

            “2002 should be a more productive year than 2001,” added Henning. “She moved to the outside hitter position permanently on her high school team.”
