Dakota State University Unveils New Recruitment
Tool
MyDakotaState.com is personal website for
prospective students
Madison, SD -- In the never-ending quest to
attract students, Dakota State University has unveiled its newest
recruitment tool for prospective students –
www.MyDakotaState.com.
Partnering with the
multi-media development firm JamesTower of Minnesota, the
recruitment staff wanted to create a website that prospective
students could personalize and take ownership.
Prospective students
will be able to create their own MyDakotaState site by selecting
only the areas that they are interested in learning more about.
From there, a personal site is created.
The University will continuously update the site, enticing
students to return on a regular basis.
Admission representatives will also establish relationships
with the students using email, telephone calls, and mailings.
The University
believes MyDakotaState.com compliments its other multi-media
recruitment tool, the mini CD-Rom.
The school is in its fourth year of creating a full-service
CD for prospective students.
Last year’s recruitment CD-Rom won three international
awards.
