Rosie Jamison, Dakota State University Director of Financial Aid, has been elected as vice president of the Rocky Mountain Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (RMASFAA).

Jamison was nominated from the organization’s nearly 1000 individual members and elected by the 300 institutional and agency members of RMASFAA.

“I’m humbled by the vote of confidence from my colleagues,” Jamison said. “I will strive to assist the association and continue to do what it does best- benefit students, student aid programs and provide training for financial aid directors.”

“I have an extremely high regard for the organization,” Jamison said of RMASFAA. “If I can help assist another financial aid officer be a better financial aid professional because of my involvement, that would be my goal.”

The appointment is for a one-year term and meets three times throughout the year within the member states of South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Utah.
