State University Fall Commencement Sunday December 15
Madison – Close to 100 graduates will receive their diplomas during the third Fall Commencement of Dakota State University. The event will be held at 2pm on Sunday, December 15 at the DSU Fieldhouse. Speaking on behalf of the graduates will be Desa Rae Doyle of De Smet. Doyle is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems with a minor in E-commerce. She is a six-time Track and Field All-American in the high jump, an Academic All-American and two-time Dakota State Female Athlete of the Year. She has been on the Dean’s list since the Spring 2001 semester. Delivering the commencement address will be Tim Eddy of CitiBank. Eddy is a graduate of Huron High School. After high school, he pursued farming as a career for several years. In 1984 he enrolled at DSU, graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. After graduation, Eddy began his career at Citibank in Sioux Falls. During the past 15 years at Citibank, Eddy has had the opportunity to work in nearly every technical application area as a programmer, system architect or technical manager. Tim’s current title is Vice President/Area Director within the Card’s Technology department. Tim and his wife, Teri, have three children, Julie (10), Karen (8) and Brent (5). In his free time, he enjoys attending his kids’ activities and golfing. |
