Gala raises money for scholarships
Madison, SD -- The Dakota State Foundation’s Gala, held each year to raise money for scholarships at the University, was the most successful to date, thanks in part to the generous donations of artist John Green and local businessmen Don Grayson and Brian Kern (Rosebud Manufacturing and Cars for Les). Green made his newest print, “Let Freedom Ring”, available for auction at the event. Grayson and Kern purchased the artwork for an amount that Green indicated was the largest ever paid for one of his prints. The money will be directed toward the Leslie Grayson Kern Memorial Endowment and will be used to fund scholarships at Dakota State. |
