Family Tree Magazine picks DSU professor’s website as Site of the Day

Family Tree Magazine at http://www.familytreemagazine.com has chosen Jim Janke’s, The American Civil War webpage at www.homepages.dsu.edu/jankej/civilwar/civilwar.htm as Site of the Day for May 29, 2002. Janke is an assistant professor for the college of Business and Information Systems at Dakota State.

“Maintaining my Civil War Web site is a labor of love for me, so I am always pleased when my efforts receive formal recognition like this,” Janke said.

Family Tree Magazine is a new magazine about discovering, preserving and celebrating your family’s history. More than 100,000 people visit its Web site each month, and The American Civil War is highlighted on their home page.
