Recruitment of students goes virtual at Dakota State University

Madison, SD -- Dakota State University, nationally recognized for its mastery in computer technology education, is also using technology to recruit new students to campus.

On Monday, February 12th, Dakota State will host a Virtual Visit DSU event. From 8:00-11:00pm (CST), students from around the world can visit DSU on the internet.

Once the students access the site on a computer, they can take a virtual tour of campus including photographs, descriptions of buildings, fun facts, panoramic pictures, graphics and much more. A unique activity also offered to students is the Chat Rooms. Chat rooms will be available ranging in topics such as “Admission & Financial Aid”, “Academics”, “Athletics”, and “Student Life.” Prospective students will be able to chat with DSU students, faculty, admission, and more – all live! There will also be access to the DSU web site and students can apply online.
