Martin Resigns from Dakota State University

Madison --  Mr. Russ Martin, Director of the Business and Education Institute (BEI) at Dakota State University, has resigned effective June 30. Russ has been with BEI since September of 1994 and has made significant contributions, particularly in his outreach efforts in grant writing across the state.

“Russ has greatly expanded the services of BEI to the state during his tenure at DSU.  We are appreciative of the contributions he has made in supporting business, governmental agencies and schools in their efforts to utilize technology efficiently,” said Dr. Jerald Tunheim, President of Dakota State University.

Ruth Peters has been named interim director of BEI starting July 1. Peters has been with BEI since 1993 and has been the Systems and Program Manager since 1997.

“Ms Peters has had considerable experience in the delivery of services for BEI and I look forward to working with her in continuing the further development of the institute,” added Dr. Tunheim.
