Bob Oas receives Lifetime Pass to DSU home athletic events
During halftime of the Men’s basketball game versus Presentation College, Dakota State University Athletic Director, Dr. Tom Gioglio, presented Bob Oas with a Lifetime Pass to all DSU Home Athletic events and to all DAC-10 Conference games. Oas has been a proud supporter of DSU Athletics for several years. He was on staff at DSU for 25 years (1969-1994). He also served as the chair of the division of Education, Physical Education and Behavioral Sciences for six years and now holds the title of Professor Emeritus. For 10 years, Oas took on the role of Faculty Athletic Representative for DSU, the SDIC and the NAIA. He also served as president of the SDIC for two years (1984-1986). Oas retired from DSU in 1984, but he remains active in DSU athletics. He volunteers numerous hours and has served several years working the DSU home football game clocks. “It is with great honor that Bob was presented with the Lifetime Pass,” said Gioglio. “I would personally like to thank Bob for his generosity, commitment and continued support of DSU athletics.” |
