DSU Singers to perform at IRA Conference

The Dakota State University Singers have been invited to sing at the 28^th Plains IRA Regional Conference in Sioux Falls on Friday, October 19^th. Seventeen students will sing at the event. Vicki Sterling, DSU associate professor of education, is the Conference Chair.

“We are honored to be asked to perform at this event,” said Barb Hegg, DSU instructor and Director of Choral music. “This is an opportunity for us to show reading teachers from a five state area that DSU is not just a university that specializes in technology, but that music plays an important role in the students’ lives also.”
