DSU Singers and Concert Choir to perform

            The Dakota State University Singers and Concert Choir will be in concert this Sunday May 16 at 3pm in the Dakota Prairie Playhouse. The event, entitled “America…The Dream Goes On,” will feature spirituals, Big Band selections, Manhattan Transfer sounds, and Alexander’s Ragtime Band.

            There will be 40 students performing throughout the event. Several of those will be featured on solos in the Big Band Medley. Amanda Stetler will perform “Operartor” made famous by Manhattan Transfer.

            The public is invited to attend this concert event at no cost and will have the opportunity to join in the singing of the “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” which will end the performance.
