DSU’s Recruitment CD Rom Wins Award
Madison, SD – Dakota State University is the
recipient of the Silver Award for its Recruitment CD-Rom from the Media
Communications Association International (MCAI) in Minnesota.
James Tower Corporation, located in North Mankato, MN and the company
that produced the CD, was presented the award in November at the MCAI-MN Media
Festival in St. Paul. The Silver Award for DSU and James Tower was in the Sales and
Marketing category. “We were excited to learn of the award.
In marketing, we often take chances and branch out in new areas such as
CD Rom’s. This award reinforces
the decisions we have made in recent years when we market to prospective
students,” said Kelli Koepsell, Director of Public Relations & Marketing
at DSU. The DSU CD Rom features academics, campus life, and
technology. It is interactive,
linking to many DSU websites that are of interest to prospective students.
Students can also apply for admission online or email questions to the
Admission Office. Amy Crissinger, Director of Admission & Marketing at DSU, added, “A great deal of time and effort goes into the design and content of recruitment materials as we try to determine how to reach future DSU students. We’re proud to have been recognized along with James Tower Corporation, our partner in this innovative project.” MCAI is a global community of professionals dedicated to the art and business of visual communications. It has nearly 8,000 members nationally and over 200 in the Twin Cities Chapter. |
