Bergan resigns as Trojan Head Football Coach at Dakota State

Madison -- Dr. Tom Gioglio, athletic director at Dakota State University, has announced the resignation of Marc Bergan, head football coach of the Trojans. The announcement was made official on Thursday, November 8th. Bergan will continue to teach several classes at the university this academic year.

Bergan has been part of the Trojans for the past six seasons, serving as head coach for the past two, offensive coordinator for the previous three seasons, and defensive line coach in 1996. He also served as head softball coach for four years.

A national search will be held to replace Bergan.
