Choose a "General" or "All Subjects" database
that covers all topics in a single database. Good
databases in which to start your research are the following
databases:

Gale Virtual Reference Library

Encyclopedia articles provide good starting
points for research by providing overviews of
topics. This database provides access to
articles from numerous specialized
encyclopedias: Endangered Species;
Encyclopedia of Modern Middle East & North
Africa; New Dictionary of the History of
Ideas; Encyclopedia of the American
Constitution; Gale Encyclopedia of
Medicine; World Religions Reference
Library; World of Forensic Science;
and many, many more.
