If you are
off-campus, you may be asked to enter a
library ID number and a password in order to login
to library research databases.
- The library ID
numbers for DSU students, faculty, and staff all
begin with the numbers 21578.
Older ID numbers are 14 digits (21578000 + 6
more digits; for example,
21578000000000). Newer ID numbers
are 13 digits (215780 + 7-digit Colleague
number).
- The password is your last name (for example,
smith).
-
On the login screen, type the
Library ID number in the top box
("username" or "barcode") and type
the password in the lower box.
For example:
2157800000000
smith
Students/staff/faculty with DSU

number on the front the card.
Distance students, who do not have ID cards,
will receive their library ID numbers (not cards)
from the Library by postal mail
or email.
Contact
the
circulation staff to find out your
library ID number.
If you are unable to logon with your ID
and password, request help from the
reference librarians.
