Description: Indexes and abstracts journal articles on a broad range of topics and provides the complete text (text and graphics) of many of the articles it indexes. Articles are from more scholarly journals than those in "MasterFILE Premier" database.  

ACM Digital Library
Location : ACM Digital Library
Description: The ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) provides this source of bibliographic information, citations, and full-text articles about computing. It includes: ACM journals and magazines, ACM proceedings by subject, ACM proceedings by sponsor, ACM proceedings by series, journals and magazines by affiliated publishers, and resources from affiliated organizations.

Although AGRICOLA does not contain the materials, thousands of AGRICOLA records are linked to online full-text documents.

Description: Provides instant access to more than one billion names in more than 3,000 databases, primary source documents, and a variety of genealogical research tools.  These include digital images of the 1790-1930 U.S. Censuses, immigration, vital, court, church, and ethnic records, city directories, genealogical societies, Social Security Death Index, Periodical Source Index (PERSI), family history library, Civil War Pension Index, and 700 historical maps. AncestryPlus also includes the Gale Group's Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, featuring published lists of .8 million passengers who arrived in America from the 17th to 19th centuries, and Biography and Genealogy Master Index, a database of more than 13 million indexed biographical sketches.

Description: Life sciences and biomedical research from journals, meetings, books, and patents. BIOSIS Previews combines journal content from Biological Abstracts with supplemental, non-journal content, from Biological Abstracts/RRM  (Reports, Reviews, Meetings). Access literature in such areas as pre-clinical and experimental research, methods and instrumentation, animal studies, and environmental and consumer issues.

Book Review Digest

Description: Indexes journal articles and other documents in the field of education and is the premier database for education professionals. Journal articles are assigned identifier numbers that begin EJ, and documents are assigned identifiers that begin with ED.  Journal articles indexed in ERIC may be found in other full-text databases of the Mundt Library, in print at the library, or may be requested through Interlibrary Loan from the library. HighWire Press hosts the largest repository of free full-text life science articles in the world, with more than 600,000 free, full-text articles online. 

Hospital and Health Administration Index

Description: Ingenta/ Uncover Plus provides citations to over 12 million articles which have appeared since Fall 1988 in over 26,000 multidisciplinary journals. Without a subscription to Ingenta, the service is most useful for viewing tables of contents of specific journal issues or finding citations to articles on a specific topic.  Full-text articles are only available with a subscription, and Mundt Library does not currently subscribe to Ingenta. Find full articles in the library or request Interlibrary Loan.
