Infotrac is an information service that provides several databases. Most of the databases index magazine and journal articles and provide the full-text of many of the articles online.  Some additional kinds of material (for example, encyclopedia articles, company information) are added in some of the indexes.

Infotrac's eight databases are:

Expanded Academic ASAP  -- a general index (that is, it covers a wide range of topics) to articles that appear in scholarly journals that are likely to be read by undergraduates.

General Reference Center Gold  -- a general index (that is, it covers a wide range of topics) to articles that appear in popular magazines.

General BusinessFile ASAP  -- a specialized index -- that is, it focuses on the specific subject area of business. It includes both general interest business magazines and scholarly journals.

Health Reference Center Academi -- a specialized index, focusing specifically on the subject area of health. It includes both general interest health magazines and scholarly journals.

Contemporary Authors -- provides biographical and bibliographical information on authors

Kid's Edition --for grades K-6; 40 full text magazines plus newspaper articles, maps, and reference books for these grades

Junior Edition --for middle/junior high schools; 60 full text magazines plus newspaper articles, maps, and reference books for these grades

Student Edition --for high schools; 185 full text magazines plus newspaper articles, maps, and reference books for these grades

All of the databases may be searched at one time by selecting a ninth database called OneFileIt contains only journal/newspaper/newswire records, not directory information, nor Investext information, nor full text reference books/pamphlets, etc.
