Interlibrary Loan
Book Request Form
**For use only by Dakota State University students, faculty and
staff.**
While
Interlibrary Loan is a free service to you, it's not free to
the Library!
Please
request items that you really need
and
pick them up as soon as possible
so that you will have the
maximum amount of time to use them. Remember that not all items may be
renewed. If you no longer need an item, please notify us
so we may return it immediately to the lending
library.
Use this form to request
books, dissertations and theses.

All requests are sent out within one workday (Monday-Friday,
excluding holidays).

We
cannot guarantee when items will be received because that depends on the
loaning library (item availability; speed of response) and delivery method
(postal mail, courier).

Books may be received as quickly as 3 days but are likely to take
7-14 days.
Hard to obtain items can take longer.

What you enter on the request form in response to
"I don't need this item after (enter date in format mm/dd/yy)"
is important. We will stop trying to get the requested item on that date.
- Please let us know as much as you can about
the item you are requesting. The more you can tell us, the faster we can get
the material to you.
