A library ID
number is needed if you want to:
- search
databases from off-campus
- access
personal settings in the Library Catalog
- check out
materials
- request
interlibrary loan and other services
The library ID
numbers for DSU students, faculty, and staff all
begin with the numbers 21578... (for example,
21578000000000). The password is your
last name (for example, smith).
Contact
the
circulation staff or
reference staff to find out your
library ID number (also known as your
'barcode number").
Your library ID
number is on the front of your DSU ID card.
Distance students, who do not have ID cards,
will receive their library ID numbers (not cards)
from the Office of E-Education (dsuinfo@pluto.dsu.edu).
