CSA Employee of the Month Naomi Keenan

Naomi Keenan, Accounting Assistant, has been named November Employee of the Month.  She has worked at DSU since the fall of 1970.  She had this to say about her tenure at DSU: 

“I have been at DSU since the fall of 1970.  During that time, I have weathered several attempts to close us down, lived through a mission change and a complete make over of our office and it’s scope, and dealt with the complexities of two separate student data bases—not to mention interacting with a multitude of students.  (Some of them are now sending their sons and daughters here, and it is really special when they stop to say hello!)  DSU is a work in progress, and as such is an exciting place to be.”   

“Chronologically, I am a senior citizen; but psychologically I am still in college!” 

Naomi’s family includes a son, a daughter-in-law and two granddaughters.  She lives with her brother on an acreage west of Ramona.  Her hobbies are gardening, reading, and collecting cookbooks (some of which she actually uses).
