1. Briefly describe the nominee’s job duties.
Donna runs DPP (the Dakota Prairie Playhouse) and summer conferences on
campus. About 5 months ago she agreed to take on a broader role coordinating
and/or consulting on special events as time permits.
2. Describe the nominee’s dedication and interest in getting the job done,
his/her personaland professional strengths, and the quantity and quality of
his/her work.
She has gracefully offered to work more with faculty and staff
university-wide to bring her special events expertise to bear to enhance the
quality of DSU's events. She is also chairing DSU's 125th anniversary
celebration. She is organized, helpful, and committed to doing high quality
work.
3. Describe the nominee’s adaptability to circumstances and creative problem
solving
ability. Include examples of exceptional and/or significant contributions
during the past
12 months.
Exceptional contributions during the last 12 months include leading our
125th anniversary bash and helping others at DSU produce high quality
special events.
4. Describe the nominee’s ability to interact/work well with others.
Donna is diplomatic and personable.
5. Describe any special service to fellow employees, the university
community or to other individuals, organizations or communities.
The 125th anniversary committee that Donna chairs is making various
celebratory events, etc. avialable to DSU faculty, staff and students, and
to the community. These include a recent kick-off event in the Mundt
foundation. Also Gene Hexom in the role of General Beadle is available to
schools and organizations.
6. Are there any other ways in which
the nominee has distinguished himself/herself?
Probably but leading the 125th
anniversary committee and offering her events expertise to the campus are
the keys from my perspective.
